The Runtastic Events is working with Friends of Wasatch Mental Health to bring you Runtastic MT. NEBO.
Wasatch Behavioral Health is a community behavioral health center providing mental health and substance use treatment services in both Utah and Wasatch Counties. They were the first mental health center in Utah and have been in business for over 50 years.
Last year, WBH provided services to nearly 11,000 individuals of all ages last year. With 5 Family Clinics- 4 located in Utah County (Payson, Provo (2), and American Fork) as well as 1 in Wasatch County. Their Mission Statement for "Friends of WMH" is:
“Mental illness is a pervasive and possibly chronic condition affecting over 21,000 members of our Utah County community. Despite well researched and evidence-based treatments available in our community, many suffer in silence due to denial, stigma, and shame.
Our goal is to raise public awareness about mental illness, the effectiveness of treatment, and promote mental wellness in the community. We believe that awareness and education reduces stigma, that early detection and diagnosis leads to prevention, and that people with mental illness can and will recover and lead full meaningful lives.”
The entirety of the proceeds you donate will go towards assisting Friends of Wasatch Mental Health in fulfilling their mission.
