A portion of the Wine Lovers 5K proceeds, along with runner donations, will benefit Unity in Community.
Founded in 2007, Unity in Community is an inter-racial, inter-denominational and diverse service organization whose goal is to support individuals and families in need by offering assistance with utilities, fuel, food, appliances, furniture, medical copays, vision, hearing and dental fees, and other basic needs.
UIC is a non-profit organization and has 501(c)3 status with the Internal Revenue Service and contributions are tax-deductible. Funds for Unity in Community come from three sources: Grants, Donations and Fundraisers.
