Run with the ones you love at the Wine Lovers 5K at Cardinal Point Vineyard...a sweet start to a weekend celebration with fellow WILL RUN FOR WINE enthusiasts! The 5K course starts and finishes at the winery and winds its way through quaint, country back roads in beautiful Nelson County, Virginia. Team up with your favorite people and compete to win biggest team and best team costumes! Walker, stroller and Fido-friendly.

Participants registered on or before Sunday, February 2 are guaranteed an event shirt. A limited number of extra shirts will be given out, by date of registration, at packet pickup.
TEAMS
Rally the troops and run or walk as a team on race day! All sizes and skill levels of groups are welcome, but we consider a complete team to be 2 or more participants. Create or join a team during registration or follow the steps to join or create a team after you have registered.
Biggest team and best team costume wins a bottle of Cardinal Point wine!
REFERRAL PROGRAM
Invite your friends to join you at the Wine Lovers 5K. If you get 4 friends to sign up using your special referral link (which you receive in your confirmation email after you register), you'll get a $10 refund as our Thank You!
COURSE
This out-and-back course is mostly flat with a few rolling hills. Walker and Fido-friendly; all-terrain strollers welcome. Course Map

POST-RACE
After you cross the finish line, it's time to celebrate!
- Your finisher glass will be available (in various locations) with choice of red, white or rose wine
- Use the Beverage Ticket attached to your race bib to pick up your finisher glass
- Please bring proper ID to partake
AWARDS
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, and to 1st place finishers in the following age groups, below. Winners over 21 will receive a bottle of Cardinal Point wine, and winners under 21 will receive a bottle of sparkling grape juice. Winners must be present at the Awards ceremony to receive their award.

- Over 21 age groups: 21-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70-79 | 80+

REFUNDS | TRANSFERS
There are NO refunds. Runner transfers (transferring your race entry to another runner) are allowed. Please email your request two weeks before race day.
WEATHER
If there is severe weather that makes the course unsafe for runners, we will postpone the event to the following day. We will notify participants via email and will post this information on the website and Facebook pages. Please make sure you can make both dates, as there are no refunds.
