Fil-Am Racing’s 2018 “Run for Heroes” fundraising campaign is an opportunity to help enhance participants’ race experience and to enrich the lives of Filipino-American Veterans and their families.
Fil-Am Racing is a not-for-profit organization. We raise funds to support our events and programs that promote a healthy and active lifestyle by encouraging participation in sports.
Additionally, proceeds from our events will benefit Filipino-American Veterans who served in World War II and their families. Fil-Am Racing also proudly supports FilVetRep, a nonpartisan,501(c)(3) tax-exempt, community-based, all-volunteer national initiative whose mission is to obtain national recognition of Filipino and American WW11 soldiers across the United States and the Philippines for their wartime service to the U.S. and the Philippines from July 26, 1941 to December 31, 1946. Proceeds of the run will also partially benefit our co-organizer, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), specifically VFW Post 2894. VFW is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.
