Funds raised from the 5K will benefit the band programs in several ways, including providing funding for the following expenses not covered by FCPS:
New LHS marching band uniforms
* Purchase of new instruments for LHS and CMS
* Repair of instruments and equipment for LHS and CMS
* Professional sectional teachers and guest clinicians for both bands
* Funding scholarships for students in need to participate in band events
