Nelson County Pantry is a member of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. They are a privately funded, non-profit organization operated entirely by volunteers and the generous contributions from many local churches, civic organizations, businesses and private individuals. On a monthly basis, NCP provides supplemental food to an average of 275 households, representing approximately 800 individuals.
A portion of the Bold Blitzen 5K proceeds, along with runner donations, will benefit the the Nelson County Pantry. Support of this nonprofit is optional.
