Description
Come out and join the William & Mary Law School Bone Marrow Drive for the 11th Ali's Run 5k run and walk! Every spring, Ali's Run raises money and awareness for bone marrow donations while honoring the memory of Ali Kaplan, a 12-year old Williamsburg student who passed away from aplastic anemia.
Proceeds from this race go to offset the cost of getting folks added to the Be The Match Registry. The registry helps patients in need of life saving treatments find willing donors, because over 70% of patients cannot find a suitable donor within their family.
The cost of pre-registration includes a T-shirt, refreshments and performance awards. Online registrants will be charged an additional fee. Please note that the paper registration form will be accepted via mail at any time prior to the race and in person during the week of April 6-10 in the Law School lobby. Same-day registration will be from 8 am to 9:15 am in front of the Law School (613 S. Henry Street) and costs $20.
Race day parking and check-in take place at the Law School, and the race begins and ends at Bicentennial Park on Newport Ave. Check-in will run from 8 am to 9:15 am.
Whether you run or walk, come out and enjoy a fun race while supporting a great cause!
