ABOUT RIVERSIDE STATE PARK FOUNDATION
WHEN OUR GOVERNMENT CUT FUNDING THE FOUNDATION STEPPED IN.
Since 2002, the Riverside State Park Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, has raised over $350,000 to support the park. This support became crucial during the government budget cuts of 2008, and many of those funding cuts are still in effect today making the work we do even more critical.
We’ve created events like this to encourage people to visit the park and raise funds for park projects. There is still much more to do. We’re always looking for volunteers and financial support and we appreciate your donations.
