Cellcom Green Bay Marathon

The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon charity partners and their volunteers play a vital role in the planning and execution of this exciting community event. The marathon has two charity partners each year with staggered multi-year terms. This structure allows new charity partners to join the event on a rotating basis.

The charity partners benefit financially from the net proceeds of the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, as well as from the pledge revenue they earn by using the marathon as a platform for their causes. In 2022, the event generated contributions of close to $100,000 for the marathon’s two charity partners, bringing the total cumulative contributions to $1.6 million over the last 20 years. The charities also benefit from the community exposure provided by the event.
