Description
The La Crosse Airport 5K Run & Walk provides an opportunity for runners of all levels to experience the La Crosse Airport, the Mississippi River, and support a great organization! Runners will start at Hangar #4 for Colgan Air Services, run up the length of Runway 04/22, and then along the beautiful Mississippi River!
All proceeds from the race will go to support the local Civil Air Patrol squadron, an all-volunteer force that provides search and rescue, youth development, and aerospace education in western Wisconsin.
This will be a timed race with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in varying age groups. All runners also receive a FREE ticket to the Civil Air Patrol Waffle Breakfast being held at the same time and location.
Due to city restrictions, no pets are allowed on the course.
