Join UW-Madison Enactus and the Badger Caring Closet to shed some pounds and shed some clothes for fellow badgers!
When?

What is it?
The Chubby Turkey Trot is a charitable 5K where participants bundle up in multiple layers of clothes - periodically throughout the race, participants will shed a layer to be donated to the Badger Caring Closet, a service that provides clothing, hygiene products and school supplies to students on campus.
Why?
The Badger Caring Closet committee of the UW-Madison branch of Enactus is focusing on the issues faced by the marginalized student population and working to ease financial burden of daily necessities such as clothing, hygiene products and school supplies. The Badger Caring Closet seeks to serve UW students by providing a place to “shop” for these daily necessities at no cost. These items are all necessary to every day functioning and the ability to succeed in not only an academic environment, but in life. It is our hope that in providing these products, the Badger Caring Closet will allow students to refocus their attention on their education.
