Friends of MADACC (FoM) is the non-profit fundraising arm of the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC). Friends of MADACC provides wellness programs that focus on helping families keep their pets healthy; community education around the safe and humane treatment of pets; and financial support to help MADACC best care for our community's stray and abandoned animal population.

Friends of MADACC is run by a volunteer-based board of individuals, dedicated to community engagement and support!

In 2025, Friends of MADACC and their incredible donors transformed countless lives, making a profound difference in our community. Our collective impact was nothing short of extraordinary:

• $35,000 in critical nutrition, ensuring every animal at MADACC received nourishing meals during their stay

• $44,000 in vital medical assistance, healing and supporting both shelter transfers and community pets

• Empowered 1,488 animals to find forever homes by subsidizing adoption fees

• Provided 1,466 community pets with life-saving vaccinations at no cost

• Offered 1,235 pets the protection of free microchip identification

• Supported responsible pet ownership by providing 318 free spay/neuter surgeries
