Shannon Marie & Louis Porter Smith Foundation
Created in 2019 to honor the lives of Shannon Smith (Porter) and her son Louis Smith, who passed away in 2018. Shannon grew up in Wausau and was a 2006 graduate of Wausau West high school. She attended UW-Marathon County before transferring to UW-Madison where she obtained a degree in nursing, and later became a nurse practitioner. The SMLPS Foundation awards college scholarships to nursing students attending UW-Stevens Point at Wausau, North Central Technical College, and Rasmussen University. Porter Smith Foundation
Wausau West Cross Country Team
Coached by Jason Myers, the Wausau West Cross Country Team provides a great group of volunteers for the Wausau Marathon. Funds directly benefit the student athletes, helping to provide the necessary items to have a successful season! Wausau West Cross Country
DC Everest Booster Club
The DCE CC Booster Club fund raising activities support our boys' and girls' team by providing scholarships opportunities for our athletes continuing their educational journey post high school.
