The Solstice run is free: if you've got shoes on your feet and gas in your tank to get here, you are just as welcome as everybody else. Still, this event and others like are only possible because of the support of the communities around them.

This year, any donations made will benefit the Helvetia Public Library and directly support its day-to-day operations---things like paying the power bill, buying new books, fixing old books, and buying snacks for children's programming events. The library is partially funded by the State of West Virginia, but must match those funds in donations in order to keep them.

Please remember that there is no pressure of any kind to make a donation. You should only do so if you would like to and it is with in your means.
