These funds provide critical assistance for immediate needs such as nutritional supplements, medications, gas cards for travel to medical appointments, and lodging support for patients who must travel long distances for consecutive visits.

Bob Baronner Legacy 

The WVU Hospitals East Foundation Bob Baronner Apple Trample 5k is much more than a fun run. To Potomac Bank (previously known as Bank of Charles Town), Apple Trample 5k Elite Sponsor, it’s a way to commemorate former BCT President and CEO and community member at large, Bob Baronner.  Bob lost his battle with cancer in early 2017, but his memory and legacy continues through the annual Apple Trample 5k event as colleagues, friends and family participate to raise awareness and support for our community’s health and well-being and for those who are in the midst of their own battle with cancer.
