YOU Can Make an IMPACT Today

Donation Goal: $2,500

WVU Hospitals East Foundation Cancer Comfort Fund

The cancer comfort fund helps provide emergency assistance to cancer patients locally who do not qualify for other area programs. Some of the immediate needs covered by the fund include food supplements, medication, and gas cards for transportation to and from medical appointments.

A gift today will directly affect a local community member with cancer, so all they have to focus on is receiving treatment and getting stronger and healthier compared to additional financial stress.

The Bob Baronner Apple Trample 5k is much more than a fun run. To the Bank of Charles Town (BCT), Apple Trample 5k Elite Sponsor, it’s a way to commemorate former BCT President and CEO and community member at large, Bob Baronner.  Bob lost his battle with cancer in early 2017, but his memory and legacy continues through the annual Apple Trample 5k event as colleagues, friends and family participate to raise awareness and support for our community’s health and well-being and for those who are in the midst of their own battle with cancer.

A donation today will support the WVU Hospitals East Foundation's Cancer Comfort Fund and WVU Cancer Institute - WVU Medicine Berkeley Medical Center.

If you would like to make a donation via check, please make payable to the WVU Hospitals East Foundation.
