Dano Youth Camp was established in memory of the life and character of Danny (Dano) Ostrom. While working in harmony with outdoor experiences, the camps seek to promote and foster the character qualities exhibited in Danny’s life, such as responsibility, courage, compassion, loyalty, honesty, friendship, persistence, hard work, self-discipline, and faith. We feel that our camps are unique in that we provide the equipment (tents, backpacks, camping gear, food, etc.) and the basic gear needed for the trip. The only requirement of the campers is to fill out the appropriate paperwork, make a commitment to the time frame, bring along a few personal items, and be prepared for summer fun! Dano is a non-profit organization that is funded through grants, donations, and the sale of Dano Pottery.
