The Jewel Levine Foundation
Established in 2016, The Jewel Levine Foundation provides hope, support and monetary assistance to families that are under financial duress caused by life threatening medical conditions or extreme circumstances. Since 2016 the Foundation has helped over 50 families and raised over $500,000.
Danielle Missy Marquis (pictured left) started the Jewel Levine Foundation in honor of her inspiration grandmother, Jewel Levine. "Although Jewel was my grandmother, she was also one of the inspirational and selfless individuals I have ever met. My grandmother had kidney failure in her late 60's and decided not to have kidney transplant. For over 15 years she had to endure dialysis treatment 3 days a week. She often called dialysis treatment, her "day at the spa"! During the 15 year span, Jewel faced numerous complications, however she never complained. She was alway upbeat and so inspirational. Jewel sadly passed away in 2013, however we hope to keep her positive spirit alive through our foundation." -Missy Marquis, Founder, CEO.
