Do I have to have a student at Holy Family School to participate?
Absolutely not. The Eagles Wings 5K is a community-wide event. We welcome everyone!
How do I register?
Register online by clicking on one of our SIGN UP links. If you prefer not to use the online option, download and print the entry form found under our main menu. Copies are also available at Holy Family School, Holy Family Church, and the Brillion Community Center. Submit your registration and payment by mail or drop it off at Holy Family School. Race day registration will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
When is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be available at Holy Family School from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the Friday before race day. Please use the doors to the far right of the main entrance and go to the cafeteria located in the lower level of the building. Packet pickup is also available during race day registration beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Do I get a race t-shirt with my registration?
T-shirts will be included with each registration. You are encouraged to register by the Early Bird deadline to guarantee your requested size.
What do I do with my bib?
All registered participants must pin their bib in a visible area. Do not cover up your bib in any way. Please do not tear off any part of your bib! We need the tab on the bottom left intact for timing purposes.
How is the race timed?
Our 5K is chip timed by Performance Timing.
Can I run/walk in the 5K if I am not registered?
Please do not participate and/or cross the finish line of the 5K if you are not registered! This confuses our race timers and is unfair to paid registrants.
Once I cross the finish line can I go back and join my friends who are still walking the course?
Yes, but please stay clear of the finish line. This confuses our race timers.
Can my child run/walk the 5K?
Children from age 5 and up are welcome and encouraged to participate. (Younger children in strollers do not need to pay an entry fee.) Parents will need to supervise their children on the course. The trails do cross roads, and police will be present to direct traffic. It is recommended that an adult accompany any younger children.
Can I run/walk with my stroller?
Yes, strollers are allowed in the 5K.
Can I bring my dog?
In consideration of the safety of all participants, no animals, skateboards, bikes, scooters or skates will be allowed in the race areas.
Can I transfer my registration or get a refund if I am unable to attend?
Registrations are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your registration to someone else if you find you are unable to participate. Transfers must be made on or before the Wednesday before race day. We will not change registrations after that time.
Will snacks and refreshments be available?
Bottled water, fruit, bagels, and other snacks will be provided.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available in Main Street Square and next to the Brillion Community Center. Do not part on Center Street or anywhere within the road barriers. For the safety of participants, please do not drive through the race areas.
