What time does the race start? 
The race starts at 1PM. 

What is included in my standard registration?
In addition to your collectible long sleeve tech race t-shirt, you’ll receive a race bib with a timing chip, an invitation to the post-race party and two drink tickets to exchange for beverages provided by a local brewery! 

Is the East Cambridge Chicken Run open to all ages?
Yes! We have no age restriction on registration. If your young ones are comfortable with 1 mile, sign them up to run along with you!

How do I know if I am registered?
After completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email from RunSignUp.com. You can also search for your registration on our Find A Participant page, via the Find A Participant tab at the top of the website page.

Can I transfer my race number to another person?
Yes! You can transfer your bib to another person up until packet pick-up hours are over. The person you are transferring the bib to will only have to pay a small $20 transfer fee. Find out how here.

Can I run with my dog?
For the safety of all runners, we do not allow animals on the race course. They are welcome at the post-race party though! 

How do I get my bib and swag?
Packet pickup will be available in Cambridge, MA at the times listed below:
Saturday, November 19th - 12-3PM at Atwood's Tavern
Sunday, November 20th starting at 11:30 AM at Centanni Park

Can someone pick up my bib for me?
Yes. They will need to know your bib number.

Can you mail my race swag?
All race items must be picked up during bib pick-up hours before the race. We do not mail swag. 

Is there a course time limit?
Yes. Participants have 15 minutes to complete the race.

Is the race timed?
Yes. 

Do you allow refunds?
All entries are final. There will be no refunds.

Who does the race benefit?
The race benefits the East Cambridge Business Association

Is there a water stop along the route?
The is no water stop along the course. Bottled water will be provided at the finish line. 

Is there a bag check? 
There is no bag check for this race. 

Where should I park on race day?
There is plenty of free on-street parking in areas surrounding the start of the race. Meters are off on Sunday. Please get to the event early if you plan to park. There is also plenty of parking available at the CambridgeSide Garage (starting at $3).
