Help Make the Run Happen

The Run for Education wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. Please consider taking a shift to help make the 2027 event a success! We have opportunities before the event and on race day, so you can choose a role that fits your schedule.

We’ll need help over three days:

Thursday, April 22 — Packet Pickup
Help participants collect their race bibs and shirts ahead of race day.

Friday, April 23 — Packet Pickup & Event Preparation
Packet pickup continues, and we’ll also need extra hands to move supplies and equipment at El Segundo High School as we get ready for Saturday.

Saturday, April 24 — Race Day
Race day brings everything together! Volunteers help with setup, registration, the finish line, keeping the event grounds clean, and much more.

 

A Critical Role: Corner Monitors

Corner monitors are stationed at key turns and intersections to guide runners along the course. Filling these positions is essential to making the race run smoothly—and it’s a great way to cheer runners on!

We’re currently looking for help with marketing and social media, as well as coordinating the race expo. If either sounds like a fit—or you’d like to explore other ways to contribute—we’d love to hear from you!
