Fundraising
Once you’re signed up, there are plenty of great ways to fundraise:
- Create an Individual Fundraiser Page. Share your online fundraising page with friends and family via email, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and let them know you are participating in the Good Grief Run & Walk.
- Create a Fundraising TEAM! When you create your individual page, you can select the option to create a Team Fundraiser. Encourage your family and friends to register and join your fundraising team by creating their own page and selecting your team. And with our Virtual Event Participation Option, your team members can participate in different parts of the country or the world.
Fundraising Tips
- Tell your story – You may know someone that has faced pregnancy & infant loss, or you may be doing this because it is a great cause and you want to make a difference. You have a story to tell.
Host a fundraiser of your own (bake sale, garage sale, lemonade stand, etc) and make that your donation! - Does your employer have a matching program? If so, see if they’ll match the funds that you raise or donate.
- Just ask! Your friends and family like to support you and the things that matter to you. Ask them to give just a little and watch it all add up!
100% of every donation goes directly to support peer support for pregnancy & infant loss!
A TEAM Fundraiser is a group of individual fundraisers. To join a team, you would first register, create your own individual fundraising page and join a team.
For example: Team Timothy would be a group of individual fundraisers created by mom, dad, extended family, and friends who are also running or walking. The more individuals who fundraise toward a team goal, the easier it is to reach that goal!
A Team Fundraiser by default is only for participants who are individually fundraising. If you want to join a team as DONOR, select "Donate" on the Team page and then contribute to an associated individual fundraiser (which goes toward the overall team goal).
