Friday, October 16th, 4-7pm at Joe's Clothes and Saturday, October 17th, beginning at 8am outside of Eskimo Joe's.
If picking up on race day, please come early, the 5K will start promptly at 10am.
The Fun Run is at 9:30am and the 5K is at 10am on Saturday, October 17th. Both events will start at the corner of Elm and Knoblock, just west of Eskimo Joe's.
Lots of parking options within a block or few! Eskimo Joe's has several parking lots, there is street parking and also nearly parking in campus lots.
All participants get our awesome Eskimo Joe's Juke Joint Jog event shirt UNLESS 12 and under and registered in the "no shirt" category. It is perfectly OK to register just because you want the shirt - we do this event as a fundraiser! :)
All 5K participants will receive a finisher's medal.
All Fun Run participants will receive a ribbon. Fun Run participants may inquire immediately after the awards presentation if they are interested in any extra participant medals we may have left over. We will not mail medals after the event.
Provided by First Place Timing
How It Works: ChronoTrack + B‑Tag Timing
Your official race time is recorded by ChronoTrack using a disposable B‑Tag electronically embedded on your bib. To ensure your time is captured accurately, please:
- Attach the bib flat on the front of your torso, unaltered and pinned at all four corners
- Don’t fold, wrinkle, or cover the bib with jackets, belts, or hydration gear
- Wear it from start to finish—the B‑Tag must stay with the bib you were assigned; removing it invalidates your time
B‑Tag Timing
When you cross the starting mat, your B‑Tag (linked to your name, gender, age, etc.) is read, starting your chip time. Once you cross the finishing mat, it registers again. Just be sure to cross each timing mat for your time to count.
Chip Time vs. Gun Time (Powered by ChronoTrack)
- Gun Time (Clock Time):
Starts when the starter pistol fires, ending when you cross the finish. Used to determine the overall Male/Female winners—whoever crosses the line first. - Chip Time (Net Time):
Matches the exact time between your personal start and finish—your true running performance. This is what counts for age-group awards, personal records (PRs), and qualifiers, unaffected by delays in crowded starts.
Awards Breakdown
- Top 3 overall male and female finishers:
Based on Gun Time (i.e., first across the line). - Age-group awards:
Based on Chip Time, automatically recorded by your B‑Tag.
In addition to coordinated participant medals, we will also award custom award medals to the top 3 in each age category, both male and female divisions.
And thanks to our friends at Leonard Jewelry, we also give top 5 overall male and female watches!
We offer a virtual Fun Run and 5K sponsored by Stillwater Medical for those that can't be with us on race day.
- Your packet will be mailed the week of October 12th.
- Do your event and then log your results with us, you can even download a finisher's certificate!
- Then check how you ranked in your age group if that interests you! (virtual participants do not qualify for placing medals since there is no way to verify results, however your finisher's medal will be mailed to you with your shirt.)
Refunds are not allowed for this race.
