Labor Day Lil' Tri Triathlon
Montgomery Whitewater’s Lil Tri puts a fun spin on the traditional triathlon by challenging young athletes to run, bike, and PADDLE across the finish line. Open to kids ages 6 to 11, Lil Tri consists of a 250-yard flatwater paddle, 700-yard bike ride, and 880-yard run.
Montgomery Whitewater will provide all of the equipment needed for the flatwater paddle; however, athletes must bring their own bike and helmet. Kids ages 6 -10 must have an adult in the ducky (inflatable kayak) for the water portion of the race. 11-year-olds may paddle on their own.
Please note that this race is not timed, and no official winner will be announced. All participants will receive a race t-shirt, medal, and bandana to tie-dye. Race t-shirt sizes and availability are not guaranteed for those who sign up after August 26th.
