Broken Sword Triathlon Sprint - Individual
Swim Course:
The swim is an open water swim with a beach start at Lake Ludwig, located about 5 miles north of town off of Hwy. 21. The course will be a loop starting at the beach area and ending at the ramp. It will be marked with buoys and other directional signage.
Transition 1: The T1 area is in the parking/beach area as you come up the ramp. The transition exit to bike will be at the entrance onto the road.
Bike Course:
The bike course is on paved roads with beautiful scenery of the Ozark Mountains. The first half of the course is a FAST ride with rolling downhill terrain. The second section goes through downtown and the University of the Ozarks campus, then back out into the countryside that features rolling hills and finishes with a gradual and flat ride back into downtown.
Transition 2: The T2 area is a parking lot downtown at the corner of Dunlap and Sevier St. (near the Finish Line at the stage). You will enter from the road after you go around the courthouse square and exit the parking lot to quickly hop on the trail for the run.
Run Course:
The run is an out-and-back course on the Spadra Creek Nature Trail that features a flat paved trail with a pasture and wooded setting and finishes downtown with great spectator viewing and an awesome finish line party!

Broken Sword Triathlon Sprint - Relay Team
When you get to the Relay Team question on your registration: If you do not see your Relay Team Group listed or you don't know the group name of your Relay Team, please contact your team captain or fellow team members to discuss if someone has already created your relay team group, what your team name is, etc.
The Sprint Triathlon distances will be a 500 meter Swim, a 15-mile Bike, and a 5K (3.1mi) Run. Race Starts at 7:00 AM at Lake Ludwig (5 miles north of town off of Hwy. 21) and finished at the Downtown Stage (corner of Legion and Main St).

Kid's Triathlon 2024 - Intro Division (Ages 6-8)
Course Details:
Swim - 25 Meters (1 length in enclosed pool)
Bike - 1 Mile
Run - 0.5 Miles
The Intro Division course consists of swimming one length of the outdoor pool, and a 2-mile bike leg on S Cline Road to the roundabout and back. Finally, a half-mile run around the Clarksville Baseball Complex to Finish!

Kid's Triathlon 2024 - Intermediate Division (Ages 9-12)
Course Details:
Swim - 125 Meters (5 lengths)
Bike - 1.85 miles
Run - 1 miles
The Intermediate Division course consists of swimming 5 lengths of the outdoor pool, and a 4-mile round-trip bike trip via S Cline Road to the Pyron Elementary parking lot and back. They then run 1-mile around the Clarksville Baseball Complex to finish!

Kid's Triathlon 2024 - Advanced Division (Ages 13-15)
Course Details:
Swim - 175 Meters (7 lengths)
Bike - 3.7 Miles
Run - 1 Mile
The Advanced Division requires swimming 7 lengths of the pool, biking 8 miles on a closed loop course to Pyron Elementary parking lot and back, twice! Then wrapping up with (2) laps around the Clarksville Baseball Complex for a 1-mile run!
