Arkansas Ultra Running Association Ultra Trail Series & Lite Series

The Ultra Trail Series & Lite Series encompasses a number of AURA races and fun runs. Individual points are awarded for each event completed, based on the UTS Rules. Male and Female, Open, Master, Grand Master, Senior, and Super-Senior winners (Kings/Queens of the Trail) are crowned at the completion of the series each year, based on point totals.

Some of the UTS races are low-key, no-fee, no frills, minimal aid events (a.k.a. 'fun runs'), while others are full-fledged races. Please plan and prepare accordingly. Some of the races in the series are not put on by the AURA.

The Arkansas Ultra Running Association is a 501(c)(3) organization that encourages participants to enjoy the beautiful natural resources in our state through the administration of trail events. AURA's expenses include race equipment (lights, generators, clocks), equipment storage and transportation, event insurance, and permitting. We try to have a number of free/pay-what-you-can events throughout the year... thank you for helping us to keep those going on a not-for-profit basis! All AURA events are not-for-profit, and any excess registration/donations go to support the organizations that help us to put on events, such as the Williams Junction Volunteer Fire Department, various Amateur Radio services, and the Big Fork Community Center (to name a few). We couldn't provide these events without our larger community. Thank you for helping us to keep this community strong!
