Greetings,
When a physician delivers the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease a person’s life is changed dramatically. They leave their physicians office and questions upon questions begin to flood their thoughts. Most try to navigate the internet for information with the risk of victimization from predatory entities making false claims. Due to a physician’s busy schedule, healthcare professionals do not have the time to answer their newly diagnosed patients’ questions. Summit intends to bridge this informational gap.
There are an estimated 18,000 people struggling with Parkinson’s disease in San Diego county alone. Summit’s goal is to provide an “all things Parkinson’s in one location” resource for these individuals, their caregivers, and families. Our team of leading professionals in Parkinson’s disease from around the country have designed comprehensive programs addressing the physical, mental, and emotional needs. Our intent is to help and empower these individuals live the best life possible with Parkinson’s disease.
Proceeds from this event will benefit our newest project, the Capital Campaign for the Center for Parkinson’s Health and Wellness. We appreciate your support for the Summit 5K 2023. We are excited that you are joining us at this year’s event on Saturday, October 14th. We anticipate exciting campaign growth over the next year. We will look forward to seeing you at next year’s 5K.

$10.00/ticket and $50.00/8 tickets

6:00am – 6:30am Vendor & Exhibitor set-up
6:30am – 7:45am OPEN Registration
8:00am - 5K START TIME
Runners: Line up in the front
Walkers (including those with strollers or joggers): Line up behind the Runners.
9:00am - Raffle Drawing – You MUST be present to Win.
Event Parking: You are responsible for your parking fee.
There is a parking kiosk for parking spaces adjacent to the event site.
Paid Parking ONLY is available in the area.
Prepaid Event Parking: Please see Parking Attendant at Event.
On-site Parking might be available given the early arrival time.
Parking is FREE until 10:00am.
Payment begins at 10:00am at the rate of $1.75/hr. with a maximum of 3 hrs.
