Ventura County Velocity Track Meet

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to race an all-out mile on the track! Multiple heats may be necessary depending on the number of participants. Runners should be ready to start their heat any time between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Results will be based on GUN TIME ONLY, with times recorded manually by our event volunteers and verified via video footage if necessary. To keep costs low, chip timing is not available for this event.

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers in the following categories, and 1st place in each category will also receive a gift card from Urbane Cafe!
- Open Female
- Open Male
- Master's Female (40+ Years Old)
- Maser's Male (40+ Years Old)

Come rep your city in the 5000m! This will be 12.5 laps around the track, and multiple heats may be necessary depending on the number of participants. Runners should be ready to start their heat any time between 6:15pm and 7:15pm. Results will be based on GUN TIME ONLY, with times recorded manually by our event volunteers and verified via video footage if necessary. To keep costs low, chip timing is not available for this event.

The City Challenge includes scoring for your city of residence against other Ventura County city teams (e.g. Team Oxnard, Team Thousand Oaks, etc.). Your City Challenge team will be based on your address submitted with your race registration, and residents of unincorporated areas of Ventura County will be added to a city team on a case-by-case basis. Team scores will be based on the combined times of its scoring members. City Challenge teams will consist of the following:
- Male Team: Top 5 male finishers from your city
- Female Team: Top 5 female finishers
- Coed Team: Combined top 3 male and top 3 female finishers

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall individual finishers in the following categories:
- Open Female
- Open Male
- Master's Female (40+ Years Old)
- Master's Male (40+ Years Old)
