Event: 5K Run/Walk
COURSE: The course starts and finishes in the main grassy area of Lake Skinner Park near the park's amphitheater. Most of the course consists of well-packed dirt with very little cement or pavement (more of a cross-country type course than a road race). Baby strollers/joggers are allowed, but be aware that there are some places that may be bumpy or sandy. A good portion of the course is close to Lake Skinner so there are some nice views of the lake.
PARK ENTRANCE FEE: When you enter the park, let them know you're there for the Resolution Run to enter for free (they will be using the honor system). Usually you would pay $6 per adult and $3 per child to enter the park.
PARKING: There is ample parking at Lake Skinner Park for all the participants.
BATHROOMS: There will be portable bathrooms available near the start/finish line.
AWARDS: There will be medals for top finishers of each age bracket.
T-SHIRT: All participants will receive a free t-shirt as part of their registration (be sure to select your t-shirt size during the registration process).
WEATHER: The race will take place rain or shine.
