🌅 Sunset Run to DJ Set

🏃🏽‍♂️ The Run
• A 5 km sunset run along the beach
• Open to all paces — run, jog, or walk
• Part of a global virtual 5K, with participants joining from around the world
• In San Francisco, we’re showing up IRL to raise awareness for NHPI scholarship applications

🗓️ Run Day Logistics

Meet-up:
🕔 5:15 PM — meet at Ocean Beach

Run start:
🏃🏽‍♀️ 5:30 PM sharp

The run:
• ~40 minutes running along the beach
• All paces welcome — run, jog, cruise
• We’ll finish near Fort Funston

Sunset → after:
We’ll hang through sunset and head out shortly after.

🚲 Getting There + Back
- We highly recommend biking or Ubering to the start
- After the event, shared Ubers encouraged — lots of friendly faces heading the same direction
- Please don’t drive if you plan on fully vibing

🧥 Jackets / extra layers will be transported to the finish for you

🤫 One Last Thing…
There may be an extremely unofficial, very low-key, absolutely-not-permitted situation on the beach.
So uh… let’s keep that between us 😌
(Leave no trace. Respect the beach. Be cool humans.)

We’ll end the run at Fort Funston with:
🌺 Traditional Hawaiian dance
🔥 Beach bonfire
🎶 Live music performances
🍽️ light bites + community hang
🧊 Optional ocean dips (brave souls encouraged)
