Mountain Madness Spring Survival
LOCATION: Staunton State Park, Pine, Colorado
DATE: Sunday, May 25, 2025
TIME: 2 hours from check-in/start (Between 8:00am - 9:00am)
FORMAT: Team orienteering (teams of 2)
OBJECTIVE: Collect as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit. Each checkpoint has a unique score value. Teams with the highest score and fastest time will be declared winners.
CHECK-IN: Runners can check in and start anytime between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM at the Ranch Hand Group Picnic Area at Staunton State Park. There is no specific start time, allowing teams to begin their adventure at their preferred moment.
NOTES: Participants are only permitted to use a map and compass. A detailed map will be provided at the start of the race. Also, runners must be self-sufficient throughout the event. This means carrying all necessary gear and supplies without external support.
