Ives Farm Tractor Trot 5K Walk & Run
The Cheshire Land Trust presents the 2nd Annual Ives Farm Tractor Trot 5K. This unique course is entirely on a working farm. No asphalt. Runners traverse woodlands, circle vegetable and hay fields, and pad alongside the banks of the Quinnipiac River on trails and farm paths. The course begins and ends at the farm's centerpiece - a picturesque red timber-frame barn.
The setting, Ives Farm, is a gem among the Cheshire Land Trust's protected open spaces - many of which are open to the public for hiking, birdwatching, and passive recreation.
Festivities will kick-off with a 10:00 a.m. start. Post-run festivities will include food, live band, vendor/exhibitor booths, and a tractor display. The event will conclude by approximately 1:00 p.m. Runners and walkers welcome. Sorry, no baby strollers allowed on course. No dogs on property the day of the race.

Online registration is now closed. Walk-ins are welcome on Saturday, October 29th at Ives Farm, 1585 Cheshire Street. Entry is $40 on event day. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
