Event: Race 4 Chase Kids' Fun Run
In addition to the 5k road race for those 12 years and older, the day’s events include the Kid’s Fun Run , a non-competitive event for younger runners. Every finisher in the Fun Run is a winner. The first 250 children registered who complete the course receive medals and t-shirts. Each year the Kids Fun Run has proven to be a great way to get the whole family involved in a healthy physical activity to boost self-esteem and make new friends.
This year, our Fun Run honors the Chase Kowalski Memorial Foundation. Chase Kowalski was a Sprint Fun Run alumni, and we hope that this year's run can both raise money towards his Foundation and be a fitting tribute to this amazing little boy who loved to run.
