New Britain-Berlin Rotary Club Fun Run, Fitness Walk, & Children's Costume Parade - Benefitting The Return of Paddleboats in Stanley Quarter Park

The race will occur mostly on a ten-foot wide freshly paved path stretching through Stanley Quarter and A.W. Stanley Parks in New Britain, CT. The start and finish line are at the Boat House in front of the pond in Stanley Quarter Park. Runner's bibs will have timing chips and all bib numbers will be entered into a drawing for dozens of gift cards to local businesses. Award categories - For both male and female registrants we will offer awards in the following age groups: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, 60-69, 70+

Walkers can choose that day which distance they wish to walk. No timing will take place for this event. All walkers will receive bibs and will be entered into a drawing for dozens of gift cards to local businesses.

A parade for children around the path circling the pond in Stanley Quarter Park with treats for participants in a fun rehearsal for Halloween later in the month. Children up to and including age 13 on the day of the event can be registered for this event. The first 150 children registered receive a commemorative event medal and Halloween treats.
