Getting There by Car:
Fletcher’s Cove is located approximately 2 miles north of Georgetown University on Canal Road NW, near the intersection with Reservoir Road NW. At the traffic light, turn toward the entrance and follow the road downhill to Fletcher’s Cove.
Parking is available but limited. We strongly encourage carpooling or using public transportation when possible.
Getting There by Public Transportation:
From the West End area, take the D94 bus west toward Sibley Hospital. Get off near Reservoir Road and walk (or warm-up jog!) approximately ½-mile down Reservoir Road to Fletcher’s Cove.
Getting There by Bike or on Foot:
Fletcher’s Cove is accessible by bike and on foot via the C&O Canal Towpath and the adjacent paved Capital Crescent Trail.
