UTE Wheels of Speed

- **Rolling Start**: There are 50 meters to the start; the race begins as cyclists cross the start line, and chips are activated with a race-starting device.
- **Heats**: Eight qualifying heats for Gravel and Mountain Bike XC divisions, with the top ten cyclists advancing to the final.
- USA Cycling / UCI rules govern all races and will be managed by appointed starters and judges. Chip time, photo finishes, and USA Race judges will determine placings.

Exhibition Cycle Cross features a rapid sprint course with logs, sand, rocks, and a steep 7% climb followed by a long 4% uphill finish each lap. Unknown cash laps add excitement, ranging from $300 to $1,500.

- 60TEAMS MAX – Top 20 teams Male and Female advance Semi finals and top 6 teams advances to the final.
Registration $600 per team 1st place 2000, 2nd 1500, 3rd 1000 , 4th 600
All finalist receive a team trophy, individual medals for top 4.

What makes this event so exciting!!! Each team has 3 workers and one final sprinter, but the team stays close to maximize speeds of 25-35 mph per lap, every lap one team member from each team will drop out of race and another team member will take over until the final lap and each teams sprinter will battle for that four and final lap.
The final will be all tactical , endurance and lots of speed, as teams have to decide on what order to send each rider.
Look out for the surprise Cash Laps where Cash Prizes will be awarded.

Unknown distance 2-10 lap , elimination via bell ring by lap race judge and announcement – by commentator saying elimination lap last five cyclist will be out on that lap and every lap due to large size of the pack , multiple eliminations and lap prizes sponsored by company or spectator. Top 3 male and female overall

Proof that you placed top 5 in State , national, regional champions in any cycling event including XC Mountain bike events , Gravel and cycle cross. World championships top 10 results in the last two years will also be accepted.
