2024 Race the Tortoise 5K Run/Walk

Please be advised that, due to the potential for leash entanglement, dogs are not allowed on the course for the safety of other runners. They are, however, welcome at the park as long as they are kept on a leash off of the pavement. If you attempt to bring a dog onto the course, you will be escorted out of the park by security.

If you would love to support O'Leno State Park and Race the Tortoise, but are unable to make this date, we invite you to register and pick a day of your choosing to visit and go for a run on your own. You will still receive a race T-shirt and a complimentary park pass as a participant. Just present your registration receipt at the Ranger Station to pick them up when you visit.
