Cake by the Lake 5K Race Walk and Power Walk (Observers, but no judges or red cards)

You may walk any way that you wish, including fitness walking, power walking, and racewalking, as long as you WALK. You may not run at all if you enter the 5K Walk, or you will risk disqualification for repeated or persistent running. If you wish to employ the "run and walk" method, please enter the 5K Run.
We will have monitors on the course to assist all walking entrants in complying with walking "heel to toe walking with one foot always in contact with the ground". The Monitors are NOT certified judges in either NSG discipline. They may show a walker a Yellow Card as a courtesy to assist in a walker's personal development, but the cardings will not be recorded and there will be NO RED CARDS in use.
