Run #1: One Mile Dash
Challenge time frame: Tuesday, September 29 - Monday, October 5
Distance: 1 mile
Warm up. Then run a one mile the fastest you can. Cool down with an easy jog or walk. (We’ll end the series with another mile dash … let’s see how your times compare)

Run #2: Streak Week
Distance: Your choice, but must do at least one mile per day
Get in a run each day of this week’s challenge (must be at least one mile per day).
To get credit for this run, enter your total distance for the week.

Run #3: Crossfit Run
Distance: 2 miles + sit ups, push ups & squats
Everyone’s favorite is back! Run 1 mile, then do 50 push ups, 50 sit ups, 50 squats and finish it off with another 1 mile run. Fun!

Run #4: Half Marathon Relay
Team Distance: 13.1 miles. Individual distance up to you.
Teams of up to 4 people will run 13.1 miles. Get your friends together, figure out how far each of you will run and the order you want to run in. Practice safe social distancing so you can virtually tag off to your next runner (via text or high five from 6 feet away)
Upload your personal results (distance and time) to get credit for this run.

Run #5: Dress It Up 5K
Distance: 5K
Just a simple 5k … but celebrate Halloween and run in a costume. Prizes for pix of you running in costume.

Facebook Live Event: Saturday, November 7,
Race clock starts at 8am!
Distance: 5k
Run a 5k at your convenience or join us live on Facebook as we start the clock. We’ll be live for an hour cheering ya’ll in. Comment on the live event page when you finish, post some pics and cheer others on. We’ll have prizes for the most engagement during the live event.

Run #7: Scavenger Hunt
Distance: 5k
Here's how it works:
Plan a 5k route to find as many of the items as you can during your run.
Log your total time. Take photos of what you find (and post them on the MTC Facebook page ... you may win a prize!)
(You only have to find one item in each grouping:)
• Find an animal that swims, eats nuts, or flies.
• Find a Street that is named after a tree, fruit, of a number.
• Find a statue, water fountain, or a park bench.
• Find a fire truck, fire hydrant, or a police car.
• Find a COVID sign, sanitizer station, or a testing site.
• Find a bridge, beach, or pond.
• Find an American flag, Football flag, or Military flag.
• Find a bridge, a beach, or a hill.
• Find someone on a bike, running, or walking.
• Find a port o potty.
