Mermaid Open Water Swim

There will be awards given out to the top 3 males and females in each age group, as well as the top overall male/female. Participants will receive food and drinks following the event.

PACKET PICKUP:
- Race Day Packet pick-up begins promptly at 6:30 AM
- Swim Caps only guaranteed to the first 400 participants

PARKING:
- Enter the park and make a right into the west parking lot
- There is NO CHARGE for parking
- Check-in at the Game On Race Trailer
- Head to the beach for the swim start

SWIM COURSE (OUT AND BACK):
Two Mile Swim: Swim straight out, keeping the first orange buoy to your left, round it and continue north, keeping the next buoys to your left side. At the final red buoy, swimmers round the buoy keeping it on their left side and continue back south keeping all yellow buoys to your left side. Pass the green buoy, keeping it on your right, and continue back to the first red buoy to start your second lap. Once back at the green buoy for the second time, round it, keeping it to your right side and head towards shore/finish line.

At the next red buoy, swimmers round the buoy keeping it on their left side and continue back south keeping the yellow buoys to your left side. At the green buoy, round it, keeping it to your right side and head towards shore/finish line.

There will be awards given out to the top 10 overall male and female finishers. Participants will receive food and drinks following the event.

PARKING:
- Enter the park and make a right into the north parking lot
- Park anywhere in that area
- Check-in at Pavillion 8
- Head under the tunnel to swim start
- Swim start at Tower 19

COURSE INFORMATION (OUT AND BACK):
- Swim 100 yards east to the first buoy
- Go around the buoy
- Swim 100 yards west to finish
- Come out of water, jog, 25 yards to finish

You may choose your distance in the virtual swim!
Each participant in the virtual option will receive a special edition Mermaid Glass + swim cap.
