Please come see us today at Leg Up Recovery (305 South Main Street) from 2:00-5:00pm to register in person for the event. You can also register Saturday morning beginning at 7:00am for the 5K, Fun Run and Tot Trot. On-site registration will be at Avalon concierge.
The Heart & Sole 5K at Avalon begins at 7:30 am followed by Fun Run, Tot Trot, and awards ceremony on Saturday, April 22nd. Runners and walkers of all ages as well as strollers and dogs welcome. The race begins and ends in the Avalon Plaza. The post-race party on the plaza will kick off with a complimentary Tito's Bloody Mary, other adult beverages and plenty of goodies for the kiddos and race finishers. Top 3 Male and Female of each age group will receive handmade medals by children and young adults at Lionheart.
Thank you for supporting The Lionheart School and Lionheart WORKS. Many of our students, young adults and their families as well as our staff will be at the event. There will be items from The LionheARTisans Cottage and produce from The Lionheart Gardens, the school’s organic garden available for purchase.

Kids Fun Run (approx 1 Mile)
The Kids Fun Run will begin after the the 5K. The Fun Run begins in the Avalon plaza and is designed for children 4 and up to run with their parent and/or friends. The run will have fun obstacles and circle around Avalon, approximately one mile.

Tot Trot (Children 4 and under only)
The Tot Trot is for children 4 and younger to race across the Avalon greenspace. The tots have a blast and run towards fun giveaways at their "finish line".
