Come and run fast!

Code of Conduct to follow in this event:
] Wear the bib number on the front of your shirt/shorts - to be completely visible at all times - especially at finish line.
] Stay in order of finish once across the finish line, in the finish line chute. Finish line personnel have final say as to order of finish.
] Complete and tabulated results will be emailed to all those who enter online, posted on FaceBook and on this online link within 24 hours of the conclusion of the event.
] Observe your finish time on the clock at the finish line and record on the finish line card. The finish line personnel are focused on collecting the data on every participant – please do not interrupt their collection/management of the results. The official time starts at the command of "GO," and your time ends as your torso crosses the finish line.
] Only people who have filled out a race application, wear their bib number in a visible location and signed the waiver, therefore entered participants should cross the finish line to be counted and only when they have completed the entire distance. Do not cross the finish line if you have not completed the mapped out route for the course. Do not cross the finish line if you have not properly entered the event.
] Encouraging other runners to run their best is always appropriate – however do not cross the finish line more than once in an event.
] Each participant is responsible to be able to hear starting instructions and finish line instructions at all times.
] Participants may run with a baby jogger or a dog on a leash. You are solely and completely responsible and should be mindful not to impede others.
] The courses that the events are run on are not closed to traffic – though a permit and police assistance is required – drivers are unpredictable and you MUST be aware of traffic at all times.
] The awards are handed out in the finish chute. Awards will not be mailed.
] Errors may happen during the awards presentation. Errors will be corrected. Please do not interrupt the awards presentation in process. Seek out officials after the ceremony to offer your discrepancy.
] Announcing your name correctly during any awards presentation is always the goal. Please forgive any mispronunciation. Any help you may offer the announcer with the proper enunciation is always encouraged.
] Assume the event will start on time, especially an event ACL is involved. It is highly recommended that you should be on site and fully ready to run at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. Do not expect the start of the race to be delayed for any reason – other than safety of all participants.
] Weather policy: Generally speaking, races are held rain or shine, heat or cold. In order for an event to delay or cancel a race, the event must be experiencing a severe act of God such as a lightning, hurricane, flood, blizzard, or other unsafe conditions like a forest fire nearby etc. So, if you get up and it is pouring rain, snowing, it is hot, it is cold, or combinations - the race goes on. Please dress accordingly and use your judgement regarding your personal limitations. IF for some reason an event must cancel an event due to unsafe conditions emails will be sent, if possible, to all registered racers and announcements will be made through social networking channels - or you will find out at the race site.
