The Marion Arts Festival 5K Run has long been a favorite season opener for many serious amateurs, recreational runners and the casual walkers. The walk event was created to allow those who want to walk the entire event to be placed amongst the other walkers instead of intermixed with runners. Walker awards to at least the winner in each age-group (age on race day) category.
