10-MIle Race
The race route heads through Elgin’s north end neighborhoods toward Dundee along the Fox River Trail and returns downhill on Grove. Running up Cedar Avenue at just beyond the 8-mile mark will remind long time Fox Trot runners of the old course up Duncan Avenue.

The course will begin at the corner of Grove Ave and Ann St. and will wind through the historic north end neighborhood. The downhill on Grove Avenue will provide a sprint to the finish.

This is the same course and time as the 5K Open Race, All youths age 19 and under can register for ONLY $20!

A walk is returning for the 2026 Fox Trot. For this first year, it will be 2k and not timed, but a free T-shirt, post-race beverages, and a bib to signify your participation will be included.
