- 750 meter swim (~825 yards)
- 20K bike (12.4 miles)
- 5K run (3.1 miles)
Swim: the swim may be completed in a pool or open water, 750 meters or 820 yards (just shy of 16.5 laps in a 25-yard pool). Wetsuits are permitted however no other equipment (pull buoy, paddles, fins) may be used.
Bike: the 20K or 12. 4 mile bike must completed outdoors as a solo effort (no drafting). Choose a safe, low traffic route (without a net downhill of more than 25 feet). For those close to Naperville, we’ll provide a suggested route (via email) but any route is acceptable (for extra fun, our suggested route will include 2 Strava segments, Mighty Mason Sprint 1 & Mighty Mason Sprint 2).
Run: the 5K or 3.1 mile run must be completed outdoors. Choose a safe route (without a new downhill of more than 25 feet). You may also join us in-person for the run at the Mighty Mason 5K on Sunday at Whalen Lake (note: we will follow social distancing guidelines to promote the safety and health of all participants).
Health & Safety
For your safety:
- Swim only at beaches were swimming is permissible and safe. Observe any noted closures, warnings about water conditions and other hazards. While pull buoys are not permitted, swim-safe buoys are recommended for open water swimming.
