Maine South's Walk-N-Stroll for CureSMA

Come join us for a celebration to help cure SMA. SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) is a disease that robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat, or breathe. It is the number one genetic cause of death in infants. This event will be full of fun and positive energy that will allow participants an opportunity to experience camaraderie and hope. Various activities are planned throughout the walking route that have been chosen by these brave young people that have been afflicted with SMA.
