Event: Cantigny 5K Run/Walk - Benefiting The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans
The 5K course is USATF (#IL-17036-WR) certified entirely on Cantigny grounds and a blacktop surface. The race starts at the Visitors Center and proceeds out onto the rolling hills of the Cantigny Golf course and back to the Visitors Center. Participants will run past the First Division Museum, The McCormick House, and finish by running through Cantigny Gardens to the Visitors Center. The portion on the golf course will be run on the cart paths. Digital clocks or timers will be located at mile markers. Water stations will be set up at the halfway mark and at the start/finish line.

Event: 6 - 10 Year-Old Run 1-Mile Run (non-chiped)
The 6 - 10-Year-Old Run is for children ages 6 to 10 and the 0 - 5-Year-Old Run is for children ages 0 to 5. Races will start following the 5K Run/Walk award ceremony. 6 - 10-Year-Old Runis 1-mile in length and the 0 - 5-Year-Old Run is approximately ¼-mile. Neither child's run will be chip timed.
