Pokagon Trail Challenge - CANCELLED

This will be a loop course that winds along lake James, past the Inn and then the horse barns; through the beautiful Pokagon Park. The fist half of course surface is a mostly dirt with a short section of grass. The second half will return you to the start line on a paved trail. There will be (1) manned water station halfway at the beach below the Inn providing water. Paper cups will be available, but It is recommended that runners bring their own refillable handheld water bottles.

This is an excellent shorter trail race course for a beginner trail runner wanting to try out a few short hills and some technical (rocks and roots) elements.

This will be a down and back with a lollipop at the turn around course that winds through the hart of the beautiful Pokhegon Park. The course surface is 95% dirt with a very short section of pavement. There will be (2) manned water station at the turn around loop providing water. Paper cups will be available, but It is recommended that runners bring their own refillable handheld water bottles.
