The Huntington Mile: Open Water Swim Series & Race

Huntington Sprint - distance is 1 loop around the large triangle - distance is measured as half of a "swim race mile" = 750 meters or 825 yards

This race is for experienced open water swimmers 14+ years old

Huntington Mile - Olympic distance is 2 loops around the large triangle - distance is a "swim race mile" = 1500 meters or 1650 yards

This race is for experienced open water swimmers 14+ years old

The 2 mile swim is 4 loops around the large triangle course

This race is for experienced open water swimmers 18+ years old

#SummerSundays2026 at Lake Clare

You will find various courses set and the L4L Aquatics Team geared up and ready to provide you a safe open water swim experience. This will be our 7th season at Lake Clare and have found Sunday practices at 1pm has allowed all participants a safe environment and opportunity to fellowship, train, inspire, and grow together as swimmers, monitors, lifeguards, and administrators.

But most of all.... we have become friends and cheerleaders of one another. Come join our community of open water enthusiasts this summer!

May 17th until September 27th
Sundays @ 1pm
No practice on select Sundays. (15 Practices Scheduled)

Daily Practice Rate:
Suggested $10 donation for USMS / USAT / USA / YMCA swim club members
