4TH ANNUAL UPTOWN SOCIAL WALK/RUN 5K - PRIDE COLOR RUN EDITION

Route: The start/end line will be located on the corner of 9th and Franklin (kitty corner from the venue). Racers will turn left on Pine and use the designated bike lanes as their course. Cpl. Brian Wright, with the help of Michigan City PD and EMA volunteers, will be posting signage to block off the parking spaces going north down Pine Street to ensure ample room for the racers. Participants will continue down Pine Street, cross the bridge and turn right onto Lakeshore. They will cross over to Washington Park and follow Fedder down to Krueger Ave. They will turn right onto Krueger Ave and then make another right onto Lakeshore Drive. They will follow the sidewalk all the way back to where they originally entered, cross over to the other side of Lakeshore and then follow the same route back. This route has been approved by the BOW and Park Department.
