From the moment you feel the crunch of the Flint Hills gravel under your tires, you’ll know you’re in a special place. The UNBOUND Gravel 200 is the marquee event that has earned Emporia, Kansas the name Gravel City, USA.

This event will bring to life that indomitable spirit that lives within each and every one of you. Along your 200 mile journey, you’ll travel to the furthest depths of your psyche and unravel the reasons behind why it is you’re here in the first place.

So many challenges will be thrown at you during your day in the saddle, and UNBOUND Gravel 200 gives you all the opportunities to find just what you are made of. As you work through the beautiful journey through the Kansas Prairie, we know for certain that you’ll be a different person when you cross that finish line. And we will be there to welcome you home.

UNBOUND Gravel 100 is a competitive, shorter-distance option, that gives you a big taste of the Flint Hills gravel without the insanity of the 200 mile distance. Tackle the UNBOUND 100 this year, then go for the full 200 miles the following year.

You don’t have to ride 200 miles to experience the world-class gravel that the Flint Hills have to offer. Challenge yourself to 50 scenic miles along the prairies, grassland and rolling hills outside of Emporia. The UNBOUND Gravel 50 packs all the beauty of the longer distances into a more condensed route that will leave you feeling tall and proud as you cross the finish line in downtown Emporia.

Leave the triple-digit distances to the sadists and join us for 25 beautiful miles of famous Flint Hills gravel. The UNBOUND Gravel 25 will take you on a journey through some of the most stunning gravel roads we have to offer before returning to the cheering fans in Downtown Emporia.

This is the startline for all those up-and-comers to gravel. We added this event to the line-up in 2018 and only hope we see more kids join us for the future of gravel. Fully supported and a lot of fun, it still encompasses some of those epic roads and provides an amazing finish line experience.
